Real nice Yonder Mountain show here:

If you are strapped for time just give They Love Each Other (track 8) a listen.

P.S. Bob Weir is mentioned in the Banter after Death Trip, pretty funny.

Classic.
"Got a little... Got a little Bob Weir spitty during that one. Like the Gallagher zone over here, you gotta bring your tarps. He's probably played here too."

Mrs. Wineland thinks it's odd that I turn up the volume to eleven in between songs. I have to say that I love banter. It gives us an insight into the relationships of the musicians and the individual musician's persona that we don't get from the 272nd time listening to Bertha. And yes sweetheart, I realize the 271st Bertha was the best I'd ever heard to date, but you just have to listen to this one too.

Jim - Yonder was just added to the FloydFest lineup yesterday.

That silly boat race thingie isn't looking as fun right now is it??

Kidding of course, streaming now - another good show. Can't wait for FFX - I don't know how it can get any better.

Unless they offer free massages with the bottomless beer tickets in the VIP Pass package.

Wait........they do.....

You are going to have a great time. One of these Years we'll make it. Gonna be at Hunter Mountain for Mountain Jam next weekend - should be lots of fun.

YMSB is playing their set at Telluride Bluegrass Festival from 4:00 - 5:30 pm, on Saturday, June 18, 2011.

Here's a link to an interesting discussion over at Planet Bluegrass' forum. It's about some of these big Festivals, tix pricing, perks, venues, lineups, etc, in comparison. I'd be interested to hear what some of you guys think, if possible.

Colorado Festivals vs Appalachian Festivals

I made a wimpy comparison between Telluride Bluegrass Festival and Merlefest in my comments. I also mentioned a free festival in Fort Collins.

extra perks I did not mention --
annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival gets streamed live over internet from KOTO Radio
